Hi There!

My name is Megan Hearst, and I am a multimedia professional dedicated to creating stories that stick.

We live in an era of information overload. Millions of pieces of content are right at our fingertips, but we never find what we need. That's where I come in.

I believe in creating content that is helpful, accessible, and impactful. Whether I'm cutting a documentary, writing an article, curating a social feed, or editing an image. My audience is always the first thing on my mind.

This website is here to tell you a bit about who I am, what I've done, and what inspires me to do what I do. But of course, one person can't be summed up in a single site, so I encourage you to reach out!

Rebound

This promotional piece for the documentary Rebound, which tells the story of two formerly incarcerated women making their way in the world of higher education, was instrumental in securing initial funding for a feature length film, as well as distribution on PBS.

Hotel Portofino

"Hotel Portofino: Meet the Characters" is a fun, gif-filled guide I wrote while interning that became quite popular among the PBS audience, and spurred on many other promotional posts.
